Wednesday, January 31, 2007

Friends: Right now we're having a little problem letting everyone blog, but if you would like something posted on this blog, please simply forward it to me at wallymarzano@gmail.com, and I will put it up here A.S.A.P.

Also, Sunday night's gathering (our fourth) was successful, but we would like to get the word out to more alumni for our fifth gathering on Friday, March 2nd. Stay tuned for details.

Thanks.

House to Share in LA

Looking for a financially responsible, clean, non-smoking, respectful and trustworthy person to share a beautiful house.

The house is located near the intersection of San Vicente and La Brea in a great little neighborhood! I walk everywhere!

It's a three bedroom two bath house with a living room, dining room, laundry area and kitchen. The room I am renting is huge with lots of sunlight, a nice sized closet and a private entrance from the backyard. There is an attached full bath, hardwood floors, two yards, garage, parking, washer, dryer and alarm for safety. The kitchen and the bathrooms are very clean and recently remodeled.

You would be sharing the house with myself and my doggie Noelle. I am a non-smoker, clean, responsible and fun. I love my house and want to share it with someone who will love it too! Would prefer a female but would consider a male. Also I am looking for someone my own age so late twenties to early thirties.

Rent is $850 and half utilities. I pay for the alarm and the gardener. The lease is for six months to one year. Moving in date can be as early as Feb. 1, 2007 or as late as March 1, 2007. If you are interested please call my voicemail at (323) 960-5641.

Thanks,

Elisa Schultz-Richardson

To the RTA Alumni West Coast:

Alumni David Haugen and Roberto Medina are starting a scene study class. Here are the detials thus far: The class will meet once a week (on Thursday evenings or Sunday afternoons), and is for people who have already had training or who have experience working in the business and want to keep their skills sharp.

The class will be located in either Hollywood or Venice; the emphasis will be scene work, but there will be monologues and/or cold reading. The price will depend on the cost of the rental space and the number of students involved, but we will do everything we can to keep it as low as possible.

If people are interested, they should contact David Haugen at david@davidhaugenstudio.com or at (310) 226-7171.

Also, you can talk with David at our gathering on Sunday, January 28th at 8 pm at The Cat & Fiddle on Sunset.

Dear Mason Gross L.A. community:

My friend Rhett Rossi (who dates a charming MGSA graduate... and is a lucky guy) has written a script that he would like to do an informal reading of, and is looking for an African-American male actor, early 20's to play around 18, for one of the roles.

If anyone is said actor (or knows of said actor), please contact Rhett at rhettrossi@earthlink.net, or send an e-mail to me and I'll forward it along.

And watch this space for information on our late-January gathering.

Happy New Year! Wally
